We diagnose and repair a specific set of residential espresso machines. Every job starts with a bench assessment and ends with a written estimate before any work begins — no exceptions we skip for convenience.
Diagnostics
Every repair starts with a full assessment: power, heating, pump pressure, and brew-group function, checked in sequence rather than guessed at.
Leaks
Leaks at the group head, drip tray, or internal fittings usually trace back to a worn O-ring, gasket, or a loose connection. We isolate the source before quoting.
No-flow and weak-flow faults
When the pump runs but little or no water reaches the group head, we check the solenoid, flowmeter, and scale restriction in that order.
Pumps and solenoids
Vibratory pump wear and solenoid valve fouling are two of the most common faults we see across every brand we service.
Heating and steam faults
Long heat-up times, unstable temperature, or weak steam pressure point to the thermoblock, boiler, thermostat, or thermal fuse.
Brew-group problems
Jammed, worn, or misaligned brew groups are common on automatic machines. We remove, inspect, and service the assembly directly.
Grinder faults
On machines with a built-in grinder, we check the burr assembly, drive coupling, and dosing mechanism where supported.
Preventative maintenance
Descaling, seal conditioning, and a functional check catch small issues before they become failures.
Final QC
Every machine is test-brewed and pressure-checked before it's returned, whether the repair was small or involved.
Work we don't take on
Some categories — pod machines, commercial multi-group units, and severe pest, mold, fire, or corrosion damage — are outside our scope. If you're unsure whether your situation qualifies, message us and we'll tell you directly.

Which brands and models do you currently service?
We service a specific list of machines: the Breville Barista Express (BES870) and Infuser (BES840), the De'Longhi Magnifica family, the current Philips/Saeco LatteGo range (2200–5400), the Gaggia Classic family, and the Rancilio Silvia. Message us with your model if you're not sure.
Do you repair Nespresso, Keurig, or other pod machines?
No. We don't currently service pod or capsule machines of any brand.
How much does a diagnostic cost?
A standard diagnostic is $60. Complex or prosumer machines start at $119. The diagnostic fee covers a full assessment and a written estimate before any repair work begins.
Will you start repair work without my approval?
No. We diagnose the fault, send a written estimate, and only proceed once you approve it.
Do you come to my home to do the repair?
No — this is a drop-off and pickup service, not an on-site repair. We'll confirm handoff details when you start a repair.
How long does a repair usually take?
Assessment timing is listed on the homepage and how-it-works page and is kept up to date there. Repair time after estimate approval depends on parts availability.
What if my machine turns out not to be repairable?
We'll tell you plainly in the written estimate, including why, so you can make an informed decision about repair versus replacement.
Can I get an estimate before dropping off the machine?
We can give general guidance based on the model and symptoms you describe, but a firm estimate requires a hands-on diagnostic.
