My Barista Express won't build pressure. Is that expensive to fix?
It depends on the cause. A worn pump or a fouled solenoid is a moderate repair; scale restriction in the thermoblock is usually less involved. We diagnose first and quote after, not before.
Can you fix the grinder without replacing the whole machine?
Often, yes. Grinder jams and drive-coupling wear are usually serviceable on their own. We'll flag it separately in the estimate from any pump or seal work.
